### sec.217 Contempt of board of inquiry
A person must not—
deliberately interrupt a board of inquiry; or
impede or obstruct the board of inquiry in the exercise of its powers; or
create or continue, or join in creating or continuing, a disturbance in or near a place where the board of inquiry is conducting its inquiry; or
do anything that would be contempt of court if the board of inquiry were a judge acting judicially.
Maximum penalty—200 penalty units.
