### sec.189 Quorum and voting at meetings of the board
At a meeting of the board of examiners—
a quorum consists of half the number of members appointed to the board or, if that number is not a whole number, the next higher whole number; and
a question must be decided by a majority of the votes of the members present and voting; and
each member present has a vote on each question to be decided and, if the votes are equal, the member presiding also has a casting vote.
