### sec.129A Appointments
The CEO may appoint public service officers or public service employees as authorised officers.
However, the CEO may only appoint a person as an authorised officer if the person has qualifications or experience relevant to at least 1 of the following areas—
occupational hygiene;
ergonomics;
investigating a matter under an Act.

(sec.129A-ssec.1) The CEO may appoint public service officers or public service employees as authorised officers.
(sec.129A-ssec.2) However, the CEO may only appoint a person as an authorised officer if the person has qualifications or experience relevant to at least 1 of the following areas— occupational hygiene; ergonomics; investigating a matter under an Act.
- (a) occupational hygiene;
- (b) ergonomics;
- (c) investigating a matter under an Act.
