### sec.129A Appointments The CEO may appoint public service officers or public service employees as authorised officers. However, the CEO may only appoint a person as an authorised officer if the person has qualifications or experience relevant to at least 1 of the following areas— occupational hygiene; ergonomics; investigating a matter under an Act. s 129A ins 2007 No. 46 s 15 amd 2020 No. 10 s 139 sch 2 ; 2022 No. 34 s 365 sch 3 (sec.129A-ssec.1) The CEO may appoint public service officers or public service employees as authorised officers. (sec.129A-ssec.2) However, the CEO may only appoint a person as an authorised officer if the person has qualifications or experience relevant to at least 1 of the following areas— occupational hygiene; ergonomics; investigating a matter under an Act. - (a) occupational hygiene; - (b) ergonomics; - (c) investigating a matter under an Act.
