### sec.80 Judgment for detention of goods
This section applies to a proceeding for detention of goods.
Judgment for detention of goods must be that—
the defendant return specific goods to the plaintiff; or
the defendant return specific goods, or pay their value, to the plaintiff; or
the defendant pay the value of the goods, whether with or without a condition that the value is not payable if specific goods are returned within a stated time.
A judgment for detention of goods may also provide for damages for detention of the goods.
(sec.80-ssec.1) This section applies to a proceeding for detention of goods.
(sec.80-ssec.2) Judgment for detention of goods must be that— the defendant return specific goods to the plaintiff; or the defendant return specific goods, or pay their value, to the plaintiff; or the defendant pay the value of the goods, whether with or without a condition that the value is not payable if specific goods are returned within a stated time.
(sec.80-ssec.3) A judgment for detention of goods may also provide for damages for detention of the goods.
- (a) the defendant return specific goods to the plaintiff; or
- (b) the defendant return specific goods, or pay their value, to the plaintiff; or
- (c) the defendant pay the value of the goods, whether with or without a condition that the value is not payable if specific goods are returned within a stated time.
