### sec.16 Service of termination application
If a termination application is made by 1, but not both, of the parties to a civil partnership, the applicant must—
arrange for the other party to the partnership to be personally served with a copy of—
the termination application; and
the statutory declaration mentioned in section 15 (2) (a) ; or
Section 32 (2) sets out the ways in which documents mentioned in paragraph (a) may be personally served.
send a copy of the documents mentioned in paragraph (a) , addressed to the other party, by registered post to the other party’s last known residential address.
