### sec.66 Obligation of legal practitioners to provide advice
A lawyer engaged by a plaintiff must advise the plaintiff, in writing, about the following if the plaintiff proposes to negotiate a settlement of a claim for personal injury damages—
the availability of structured settlements;
the desirability of the plaintiff obtaining independent financial advice about structured settlements and lump sum settlements of the claim.
