### sec.64 Court required to inform parties of proposed award
The purpose of this section is to enable the court to give the parties to a proceeding a reasonable opportunity to negotiate a structured settlement.
A court that decides to make an award for future loss (not including interest) of more than the amount fixed by the Minister, by written notice under section 75 , for this section must first notify all the parties to the proceeding of the terms of the award it proposes to make.
