193 Disclosure of information in course of consultation by a community-based child and family service provider
(1) This section applies if a community-based child and family service receives a referral under Part 3.2.

(2) The community-based child and family service provider may, for the purpose of assessing a risk to a child, consult with any of the following—

(c) a service agency;
(d) an information holder.

(3) The community-based child and family service provider may, for the purpose of determining which community-based child and family service provider or service agency is an appropriate body to provide assistance for the child or the family of the child or the mother of the unborn child, consult with any of the following—

(c) a service agency.

(4) For the purpose only of a consultation under this section, a community-based child and family service provider may disclose information about the child or family to, and receive information about the child or family from, the person or body permitted to be consulted.

(5) A person or entity consulted under subsection (2) or (3) by a community-based child and family service provider may disclose information about the child or family to the community-based child and family service provider.
(6) A disclosure of information made under this section in good faith—
(a) does not for any purpose constitute unprofessional conduct or a breach of professional ethics on the part of the person by whom it is made; and
