### sec.53 Bar to prosecution for failing to report leaving Queensland
This section applies if—
a reportable offender leaves Queensland; and
the offender is convicted of failing to report the offender’s presence in a foreign jurisdiction, as required by a corresponding Act.
The offender must not be prosecuted for a failure to comply with section 20 in relation to the travel out of Queensland.

(sec.53-ssec.1) This section applies if— a reportable offender leaves Queensland; and the offender is convicted of failing to report the offender’s presence in a foreign jurisdiction, as required by a corresponding Act.
(sec.53-ssec.2) The offender must not be prosecuted for a failure to comply with section 20 in relation to the travel out of Queensland.
- (a) a reportable offender leaves Queensland; and
- (b) the offender is convicted of failing to report the offender’s presence in a foreign jurisdiction, as required by a corresponding Act.
