### sec.39 Life-long reporting for particular repeat offenders
A reportable offender must comply with reporting obligations imposed on the offender under this part for the remainder of the offender’s life if the offender—
has been convicted of 1 or more reportable offences, regardless of when the offences were committed; and
was given notice of reporting obligations under this Act or a corresponding Act in relation to the offence or offences; and
committed, and was convicted of, more than 1 reportable offence—
after being given the notice; and
regardless of when the offences were committed or the offender was convicted of the offences.
This section applies despite sections 37 and 38 .

(sec.39-ssec.1) A reportable offender must comply with reporting obligations imposed on the offender under this part for the remainder of the offender’s life if the offender— has been convicted of 1 or more reportable offences, regardless of when the offences were committed; and was given notice of reporting obligations under this Act or a corresponding Act in relation to the offence or offences; and committed, and was convicted of, more than 1 reportable offence— after being given the notice; and regardless of when the offences were committed or the offender was convicted of the offences.
(sec.39-ssec.2) This section applies despite sections 37 and 38 .
- (a) has been convicted of 1 or more reportable offences, regardless of when the offences were committed; and
- (b) was given notice of reporting obligations under this Act or a corresponding Act in relation to the offence or offences; and
- (c) committed, and was convicted of, more than 1 reportable offence— (i) after being given the notice; and (ii) regardless of when the offences were committed or the offender was convicted of the offences.
