### sec.13N Extending temporary order if application for final order adjourned
This section applies if—
a temporary order is in force for the respondent to an application for a final order; and
the court adjourns the application; and
the temporary order will end before the application is decided.
The court may, on application or on its own initiative, extend the temporary order for not more than 28 days, or a longer period to which the respondent consents.
The temporary order may be extended in the respondent’s absence if the court is satisfied application documents for the final order were served on the respondent under section 13B (3) .

(sec.13N-ssec.1) This section applies if— a temporary order is in force for the respondent to an application for a final order; and the court adjourns the application; and the temporary order will end before the application is decided.
(sec.13N-ssec.2) The court may, on application or on its own initiative, extend the temporary order for not more than 28 days, or a longer period to which the respondent consents.
(sec.13N-ssec.3) The temporary order may be extended in the respondent’s absence if the court is satisfied application documents for the final order were served on the respondent under section 13B (3) .
