### sec.11 Delegation
The council may delegate its powers under this Act to—
an appropriately qualified member of the council; or
an appropriately qualified committee that includes 1 or more members of the council; or
an appropriately qualified member of the university’s staff.
However, the council may not delegate its power—
to make an election policy; or
to adopt the university’s annual budget.
A delegation of a power under subsection (1) to the vice-chancellor may permit the subdelegation of the power to an appropriately qualified member of the university’s staff.

(sec.11-ssec.1) The council may delegate its powers under this Act to— an appropriately qualified member of the council; or an appropriately qualified committee that includes 1 or more members of the council; or an appropriately qualified member of the university’s staff.
(sec.11-ssec.2) However, the council may not delegate its power— to make an election policy; or to adopt the university’s annual budget.
