### sec.57 Insurance by proprietor
Nothing in this division limits any right of a proprietor to effect insurance.
Insurance effected by a proprietor does not affect, and shall not be taken into consideration in determining, the amount payable to a body corporate under a contract of insurance entered into between it and an insurer pursuant to this division, notwithstanding anything contained in that contract of insurance.
(sec.57-ssec.1) Nothing in this division limits any right of a proprietor to effect insurance.
