### sec.93 Releasing security
The local government may at any time, having regard to the progress of the building work, refund or release part of any security given to it for the carrying out of the building work.
The local government must release all or any remaining part of the security if—
the demolition/removal completion condition is complied with; or
the building development approval lapses.

(sec.93-ssec.1) The local government may at any time, having regard to the progress of the building work, refund or release part of any security given to it for the carrying out of the building work.
(sec.93-ssec.2) The local government must release all or any remaining part of the security if— the demolition/removal completion condition is complied with; or the building development approval lapses.
- (a) the demolition/removal completion condition is complied with; or
- (b) the building development approval lapses.
