### sec.80 Alterations to unsafe existing work This section applies to a building development approval if— the building work is alterations to an existing building or structure; and the building certifier decides the building or structure is unsafe or structurally unsound. The building development approval may include a condition that all, or a stated part, of the building or structure must comply with the building assessment provisions in force— when the approval was granted; or at another stated time that the building certifier considers will ensure the building or structure is made safe and structurally sound. s 80 ins 2006 No. 36 s 5 (sec.80-ssec.1) This section applies to a building development approval if— the building work is alterations to an existing building or structure; and the building certifier decides the building or structure is unsafe or structurally unsound.
