### sec.58 Survey certificate
A building certifier may, before assessing a building development application, require that a cadastral survey, including a survey commonly called in the surveying profession an identification survey, be carried out to show—
the boundaries of the allotment on which the building work is proposed; and
the location of any proposed or existing buildings or structures on the allotment.
The absence of a requirement under subsection (1) does not prevent the requirement being made by a condition of the building development approval, under section 78 .

(sec.58-ssec.2) The absence of a requirement under subsection (1) does not prevent the requirement being made by a condition of the building development approval, under section 78 .
