### sec.52 Restriction on local government issuing building development approval The local government for a building development application may issue the building development approval applied for only if— a local government building certifier has carried out the building assessment work for the application; and the building certifier is appropriately licensed to carry out the building assessment work. s 52 ins 2006 No. 36 s 5 - (a) a local government building certifier has carried out the building assessment work for the application; and - (b) the building certifier is appropriately licensed to carry out the building assessment work.
