### sec.317 Retrospective validation of particular certificates of classification given during relevant period
This section applies if, during the relevant period, a building certifier for a building development approval—
gave a certificate of classification for the building under section 102; and
when the certificate was given—

would have been substantially completed if section 101(1)(d), as in force immediately after the commencement, had been in force on the day the certificate was given.
The certificate of classification is taken to be, and always to have been, as valid as if section 101(1)(d), as in force immediately after the commencement, had been in force on the day the certificate was given.
