### sec.246CA Notice and taking effect of decision
If the QBCC commissioner decides not to take the proposed action, it must give the pool safety inspector notice of the decision.
If the commissioner decides to take the proposed action, it must give the pool safety inspector an information notice about the decision.
For reviews of the decision, see the QBCC Act , part 7 , division 3 .
A decision to take the proposed action takes effect when the information notice is given.
In this section—
proposed action includes a decision under section 246BZ (2) to suspend the pool safety inspector’s licence for a stated period.

(sec.246CA-ssec.1) If the QBCC commissioner decides not to take the proposed action, it must give the pool safety inspector notice of the decision.
(sec.246CA-ssec.2) If the commissioner decides to take the proposed action, it must give the pool safety inspector an information notice about the decision. For reviews of the decision, see the QBCC Act , part 7 , division 3 .
(sec.246CA-ssec.3) A decision to take the proposed action takes effect when the information notice is given.
