### sec.246BP Decision on renewal application Subject to section 246CH , the QBCC commissioner must consider the application and decide to— renew the licence; or refuse to renew the licence. However, the commissioner may decide to renew the licence only if it is satisfied the applicant is still a suitable person to hold a licence. The commissioner is taken to have refused to renew the licence if the commissioner does not decide the application within the decision period. If the application is refused under subsection (3) , the applicant is entitled to be given by the commissioner an information notice about the decision.
