### sec.246AR Owner’s obligation to give notice of existing regulated pool
This section applies to an existing regulated pool that is not recorded in the regulated pools register at the end of 3 months after the commencement of this section.
The owner of the pool must, by a day prescribed under a regulation (the prescribed day ), give the QBCC commissioner details of the pool in the way approved by the commissioner, unless the owner has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
The prescribed day must not be later than 12 months after the commencement of this subsection.
This section does not apply to an existing regulated pool that is demolished or removed before the prescribed day.
In this section—
existing regulated pool means a regulated pool in existence on the commencement of this section.
