### sec.238 Notice of decision
If the local government decides to grant the exemption, it must give the applicant written notice of the exemption.
If the local government decides to refuse to grant the exemption or impose conditions on the exemption, the local government must give the applicant an information notice about the decision.
For rights of appeal to a development tribunal, see the Planning Act , section 229 .

(sec.238-ssec.1) If the local government decides to grant the exemption, it must give the applicant written notice of the exemption.
