### sec.168 Existing licence taken to be in force while application is being considered If an application is made under section 167 to renew a licence, the licence is taken to continue in force from the day it would, apart from this section, have expired until the application is decided. Subsection (1) does not apply if the licence is earlier cancelled, suspended or surrendered under this Act. s 168 ins 2006 No. 36 s 5 (sec.168-ssec.1) If an application is made under section 167 to renew a licence, the licence is taken to continue in force from the day it would, apart from this section, have expired until the application is decided. (sec.168-ssec.2) Subsection (1) does not apply if the licence is earlier cancelled, suspended or surrendered under this Act.
