### sec.124 Building certifier’s obligation to give information notice about particular decisions
This section applies if—
a building certifier to whom part 1 applies decides not to give a final inspection certificate for the relevant building work because the work does not comply with the building development approval; or
a building certifier to whom part 2 applies decides not to give a certificate of occupancy for the relevant building because the building has not been substantially completed; or
a building certifier decides to refuse an application under this chapter; or
a private certifier (class A) decides to refuse to approve a BCA classification or use change for a client of the certifier; or
under section 112 , a building certifier decides to approve a BCA classification or use change with a condition mentioned in section 112 (5) .
The building certifier must give the applicant or client an information notice about the decision.
For subsection (1) , a failure to decide an application within 20 business days is taken to be a decision to refuse the application.

(sec.124-ssec.2) The building certifier must give the applicant or client an information notice about the decision.

- (e) under section 112 , a building certifier decides to approve a BCA classification or use change with a condition mentioned in section 112 (5) .
