### sec.47 Replacement of member removed from office by body corporate If the reason for the vacancy is that the committee member is removed from office by ordinary resolution of the body corporate under subdivision 1 , the body corporate may, at the general meeting at which the resolution is passed, appoint a person who is eligible to be a member of the committee to fill the vacancy. It is not necessary for the body corporate to conduct an election to make an appointment under subsection (1) . (sec.47-ssec.1) If the reason for the vacancy is that the committee member is removed from office by ordinary resolution of the body corporate under subdivision 1 , the body corporate may, at the general meeting at which the resolution is passed, appoint a person who is eligible to be a member of the committee to fill the vacancy. (sec.47-ssec.2) It is not necessary for the body corporate to conduct an election to make an appointment under subsection (1) .
