### sec.247 General meetings of body corporate and committee meetings called before commencement
This section applies to a general meeting of a body corporate, or a meeting of the committee, called but not held before the commencement.
The repealed regulation continues to apply to a procedural step taken to call the meeting, and to the conduct of the meeting, as if this regulation had not been made and the repealed regulation continued in force.
For this section and without limiting section 246—
a general meeting of a body corporate is taken to have been called if the secretary has given to each owner of a lot a notice inviting the owner to nominate a person for election, at the meeting, as a member of the committee; and
repealed section 69 continues to have effect for the purposes of the meeting as if this regulation had not been made and the repealed regulation continued in force; and
repealed sections 77 and 79 continue to apply to an original owner as if this regulation had not been made and the repealed regulation continued in force.
