### sec.47 Effect of alteration of record of sex of person in relevant child register If the record of a person’s sex in the relevant child register is altered under this division, the person is a person of the sex as altered for the purposes of, but subject to, a law of the State. Subsection (3) applies to a person who has an entitlement— under a will; or under a trust; or otherwise by operation of law. The person does not, except as otherwise provided under the will, the trust or by the law conferring the entitlement, lose the entitlement only because the record of the person’s sex has been altered in the relevant child register. (sec.47-ssec.1) If the record of a person’s sex in the relevant child register is altered under this division, the person is a person of the sex as altered for the purposes of, but subject to, a law of the State. (sec.47-ssec.2) Subsection (3) applies to a person who has an entitlement— under a will; or under a trust; or otherwise by operation of law. (sec.47-ssec.3) The person does not, except as otherwise provided under the will, the trust or by the law conferring the entitlement, lose the entitlement only because the record of the person’s sex has been altered in the relevant child register. - (a) under a will; or - (b) under a trust; or - (c) otherwise by operation of law.
