### sec.106 Re-registering events having regard to number of notes
The registrar may re-register a person’s relevant event if the registrar decides that, because of the number of notes on the entry for the event, it would be desirable to re-register the event.
The registrar re-registers a person’s relevant event by—
duplicating the information in the entry for the person’s relevant event (the closed entry ) in a new entry in the relevant child register, other than information that has been superseded, and without indicating what information has been superseded; and
noting on the closed entry—
that the relevant event has been re-registered; and
a reference to the new entry; and
noting on the new entry—
that the new entry was made under this section; and
a reference to the closed entry.
(sec.106-ssec.1) The registrar may re-register a person’s relevant event if the registrar decides that, because of the number of notes on the entry for the event, it would be desirable to re-register the event.
(sec.106-ssec.2) The registrar re-registers a person’s relevant event by— duplicating the information in the entry for the person’s relevant event (the closed entry ) in a new entry in the relevant child register, other than information that has been superseded, and without indicating what information has been superseded; and noting on the closed entry— that the relevant event has been re-registered; and a reference to the new entry; and noting on the new entry— that the new entry was made under this section; and a reference to the closed entry.

- (b) noting on the closed entry— (i) that the relevant event has been re-registered; and (ii) a reference to the new entry; and
