### sec.512 Action happening before commencement may be relevant to proceeding for particular acts or omissions
An action mentioned in section 507(1)(b) is not precluded from having relevance to a proceeding relating to a contravention of a provision of this Act involving an act or omission that happened after the commencement.
This section does not limit the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 20C.
In this section—
contravention includes an alleged contravention.
(sec.512-ssec.1) An action mentioned in section 507(1)(b) is not precluded from having relevance to a proceeding relating to a contravention of a provision of this Act involving an act or omission that happened after the commencement.
(sec.512-ssec.2) This section does not limit the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 20C.
