### sec.486 Ending show cause process without further action If, after considering the accepted representations, the chief executive no longer believes a ground exists to take the proposed action, the chief executive— must take no further action about the show cause notice; and must give the holder of the relevant authority notice that no further action is to be taken about the show cause notice. - (a) must take no further action about the show cause notice; and - (b) must give the holder of the relevant authority notice that no further action is to be taken about the show cause notice.
