### sec.435P Inquiry about application
Before deciding the application, the chief executive—
may make inquiries to decide the suitability of the applicant under section 435E (1) (b) ; and
may, by a notice given to the applicant, require the applicant to give the chief executive within the reasonable period of at least 30 days stated in the notice, further information or a document the chief executive reasonably requires to decide the application.
The applicant is taken to have withdrawn the application if, within the stated period, the applicant does not comply with a requirement under subsection (1) (b) .
A notice under subsection (1) (b) must be given to the applicant within 30 days after the chief executive receives the application.
The information or document under subsection (1) (b) must, if the notice requires, be verified by statutory declaration.
