### sec.435H Approval conditions
This section applies if the chief executive approves a person to operate an approved biosecurity accreditation scheme.
The approval is granted on the following conditions ( approval conditions )—
the approved operator must implement and comply with the approved biosecurity accreditation scheme;
the approved operator may only accredit, however described, a person under the scheme to give biosecurity certificates if the person has the necessary expertise or experience to perform the functions of an accredited certifier under the scheme;
the approved operator must have a compliance audit of the operator’s operation of the scheme at the intervals stated in the conditions;
the approved operator must keep a register of accredited certifiers under the scheme that contains the following particulars for each accredited certifier—
the accredited certifier’s name and contact details;
the conditions imposed on the accredited certifier’s accreditation;
the term of the accreditation.
The chief executive may grant the approval on other conditions (also approval conditions ).
Another condition may provide for any of the following—
the particular type of biosecurity certificate that may be given under the scheme;
conditions on which a biosecurity certificate may be given under the scheme;
other restrictions on the operation of the scheme;
records required to be kept by the approved operator;
providing information to the chief executive as and when required by the chief executive;
another matter prescribed by regulation.
Subsection (2) does not limit the conditions that may be imposed by the chief executive.
The chief executive may impose conditions when the approval is granted, amended or renewed.

(sec.435H-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive approves a person to operate an approved biosecurity accreditation scheme.

(sec.435H-ssec.5) Subsection (2) does not limit the conditions that may be imposed by the chief executive.

- (d) records required to be kept by the approved operator;
- (e) providing information to the chief executive as and when required by the chief executive;
- (f) another matter prescribed by regulation.
