### sec.432 Application for renewal
An accredited certifier may apply to the chief executive for renewal of the person’s accreditation.
The application must—
be made within 60 days before the term of the accreditation ends; and
be made in the approved form; and
be accompanied by the fee prescribed under a regulation.
The chief executive must consider the application and decide to renew, or refuse to renew, the accreditation.
In deciding the application, the chief executive may have regard to the matters to which the chief executive may have regard in deciding whether an applicant for an accreditation is a suitable person to be an accredited certifier.
If the chief executive decides to refuse to renew the accreditation, or to impose conditions on the accreditation, the chief executive must as soon as practicable give the applicant an information notice for the decision.
An accreditation may be renewed by issuing another accreditation to replace it.
