### sec.391 Entering into government and industry agreements
The Minister or the chief executive may, for the State, enter into an agreement (a government and industry agreement )—
to help achieve the purposes of this Act; and
that is between the State and any 1 or more of the following—
1 or more other jurisdictions;
1 or more local governments;
1 or more industry bodies;
1 or more natural resource management bodies;
1 or more other entities.
utility service provider, port authority
The agreement may be directed at—
ensuring a coordinated process for either of the following—
responding to a biosecurity event;
sharing, between the parties, the costs related to a biosecurity event; or
providing for another matter necessary or convenient to achieve the purposes of this Act.
In this section—
industry body means a body considered by the participants in a particular industry to be the national or State representative of the industry.
other jurisdiction means the Commonwealth or another State.
