### sec.349 Application for statutory compensation
A person (the applicant ) may apply to the chief executive for statutory compensation.
The application must be made in the approved form.
The application must be received by the chief executive within 90 days after the date the loss or damage happens.
However, the chief executive may accept the application after the period mentioned in subsection (3) if the chief executive is satisfied it is fair and reasonable in the circumstances to accept the application.
(sec.349-ssec.1) A person (the applicant ) may apply to the chief executive for statutory compensation.
