### sec.247 Appointment conditions and limit on powers
An authorised person holds office on any conditions stated in—
the authorised person’s instrument of appointment; or
a signed notice given to the authorised person; or
a regulation.
The instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the authorised person or a regulation may limit the authorised person’s powers.
In this section—
signed notice means a notice signed by the administering executive.
(sec.247-ssec.1) An authorised person holds office on any conditions stated in— the authorised person’s instrument of appointment; or a signed notice given to the authorised person; or a regulation.
(sec.247-ssec.2) The instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the authorised person or a regulation may limit the authorised person’s powers.
(sec.247-ssec.3) In this section— signed notice means a notice signed by the administering executive.
- (a) the authorised person’s instrument of appointment; or
- (b) a signed notice given to the authorised person; or
- (c) a regulation.
