### sec.173A Use of information by NLIS administrator
This section applies in relation to information given to the NLIS administrator under section 173 (6) .
The chief executive may authorise the NLIS administrator to disclose all or part of the information to a stated person or a person of a stated class (each an authorised recipient ).

The chief executive’s authorisation may be given—
generally or in a particular case; and
subject to any conditions the chief executive considers appropriate.
Subsection (5) applies if the chief executive authorises the NLIS administrator under subsection (2) to disclose the information to an authorised recipient.
The NLIS administrator may publish the information on a website maintained by the administrator, but only if access to the information is restricted to persons—
who are authorised recipients for the information; or
to whom the disclosure of the information is required or permitted under this Act or another Act.
Subsection (3) (b) does not limit the conditions the chief executive may impose under section 173 (7) .
