### sec.166 Decision on application
The chief executive must consider the application and decide to grant, or refuse to grant, the application.
If the chief executive decides to refuse the application, the chief executive must give the applicant an information notice for the decision.
If the chief executive decides to grant the application, the chief executive must—
advise the applicant of the decision; and
as soon as practicable, remove the entry from the biosecurity register; and
advise the applicant when the entry is removed from the biosecurity register.
(sec.166-ssec.1) The chief executive must consider the application and decide to grant, or refuse to grant, the application.
(sec.166-ssec.2) If the chief executive decides to refuse the application, the chief executive must give the applicant an information notice for the decision.
(sec.166-ssec.3) If the chief executive decides to grant the application, the chief executive must— advise the applicant of the decision; and as soon as practicable, remove the entry from the biosecurity register; and advise the applicant when the entry is removed from the biosecurity register.
