### sec.160 Requirement to give biosecurity risk notice
This section applies if a relevant person for a designated place becomes aware—
the place poses, or may pose, a biosecurity risk; or
a designated animal at the place poses, or may pose, a biosecurity risk; or
designated biosecurity matter at the place poses, or may pose, a biosecurity risk.
The relevant person must, as soon as practicable, give the chief executive notice (a biosecurity risk notice ) of the biosecurity risk.
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
However, subsection (2) does not apply if the relevant person is aware the chief executive has been advised, or has otherwise become aware, of the biosecurity risk.
In this section—
relevant person , for a designated place, means—
a registered biosecurity entity for the place; or
an owner or occupier of the place.

(sec.160-ssec.1) This section applies if a relevant person for a designated place becomes aware— the place poses, or may pose, a biosecurity risk; or a designated animal at the place poses, or may pose, a biosecurity risk; or designated biosecurity matter at the place poses, or may pose, a biosecurity risk.
(sec.160-ssec.2) The relevant person must, as soon as practicable, give the chief executive notice (a biosecurity risk notice ) of the biosecurity risk. Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
