### sec.156B Person taken to have applied for deregistration
This section applies in relation to a person who is a registered biosecurity entity for a biosecurity circumstance if—
the chief executive gives the person a notice under section 156A (2) ; and
the person advises the chief executive within the notice period under section 156A that the person has ceased to be a registrable biosecurity entity for the biosecurity circumstance.
The person is taken to have made an application under section 152 (1) for the person’s deregistration as a registered biosecurity entity for the biosecurity circumstance.

(sec.156B-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to a person who is a registered biosecurity entity for a biosecurity circumstance if— the chief executive gives the person a notice under section 156A (2) ; and the person advises the chief executive within the notice period under section 156A that the person has ceased to be a registrable biosecurity entity for the biosecurity circumstance.
(sec.156B-ssec.2) The person is taken to have made an application under section 152 (1) for the person’s deregistration as a registered biosecurity entity for the biosecurity circumstance.
