### sec.146 Approval for registrable biosecurity entity to remain unregistered
A registrable biosecurity entity may apply to the chief executive for exemption (a registration exemption for the entity) from the requirement that the entity apply for registration under this part.
The application must be in the approved form.
The approval may be given only if the chief executive is satisfied that no biosecurity circumstance applying to the entity poses a biosecurity risk.
If the chief executive decides to refuse the application, the chief executive must give the applicant an information notice for the decision to refuse the application.
(sec.146-ssec.1) A registrable biosecurity entity may apply to the chief executive for exemption (a registration exemption for the entity) from the requirement that the entity apply for registration under this part.
