### sec.143 Who is the occupier of a place
The occupier of a place is the person who, whether or not the owner of the place, is the person who is effectively in day-to-day control of the place, whether or not that control is exercised through an agent or employee.
However, if at any time it is not reasonably practicable to decide who is the occupier of a place under subsection (1) , the person who is the owner of the place is also the occupier of the place.
(sec.143-ssec.1) The occupier of a place is the person who, whether or not the owner of the place, is the person who is effectively in day-to-day control of the place, whether or not that control is exercised through an agent or employee.
