### sec.116 Compliance with biosecurity emergency order
A person to whom a biosecurity emergency order applies must comply with the order.
Maximum penalty—2,000 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment.
A person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if the person—
did not know, and ought not reasonably to have known, of the existence of the order; or
has a reasonable excuse for not complying with the order.
(sec.116-ssec.1) A person to whom a biosecurity emergency order applies must comply with the order. Maximum penalty—2,000 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment.
(sec.116-ssec.2) A person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if the person— did not know, and ought not reasonably to have known, of the existence of the order; or has a reasonable excuse for not complying with the order.

- (b) has a reasonable excuse for not complying with the order.
