### sch.3-sec.64 Existing approvals and other authorities This section applies to an approval or other authority given before the commencement to a person under a previous provision of a repealed Act or the amended Act, whether or not the person had received the approval or other authority before the commencement, if there is no corresponding provision for the previous provision. If the approval or other authority granted a right to the person immediately before the commencement, the approval or other authority continues to apply according to its terms as if this Act had not been enacted. If conditions were imposed on the approval or other authority before the commencement, the conditions continue to apply to the approval or other authority. If the approval or other authority stated a period for doing something— the stated period continues to apply for doing the thing; and the period continues to have started from when the period started under the previous provision of the repealed Act or the amended Act. If the approval or other authority stated a day before which, or by which, a thing is to be done (however expressed), the thing must be done by the stated day.
