### sch.3-sec.54 Existing inspectors This section applies to a person who— before the commencement, was appointed under a repealed Act as an inspector; and still held the appointment immediately before the commencement. The relevant repealed Acts are the Agricultural Standards Act 1994 , the Apiaries Act 1982 , the Exotic Diseases in Animals Act 1981 , the Plant Protection Act 1989 and the Stock Act 1915 . On the commencement, the person is taken to hold office under this Act as an inspector for this Act on the conditions stated in the person’s instrument of appointment under the repealed Act. (sch.3-sec.54-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who— before the commencement, was appointed under a repealed Act as an inspector; and still held the appointment immediately before the commencement.
