### sec.25 Effect of death of surety
The estate of a surety who dies before an undertaking entered into by a defendant is forfeited shall not be subject to liability in respect of that undertaking.
Where a surety has died, the defendant may be required by the court to furnish another surety to act in the stead of the surety who has died.
