### sec.77 Obligations of branch
This section applies to a branch, or group of branches, incorporated under this division.
The incorporation of a branch, or group of branches, of a parent association does not relieve the members of the incorporated branch of a liability or obligation the members had as members of the parent association.
For the branch or group of branches—
the parent association’s rules control the membership of the branch or group of branches; and
a member of the branch or group of branches—
is taken to be a member of the parent association; and
is under the same liabilities and obligations as members of the parent association.

(sec.77-ssec.1) This section applies to a branch, or group of branches, incorporated under this division.
(sec.77-ssec.2) The incorporation of a branch, or group of branches, of a parent association does not relieve the members of the incorporated branch of a liability or obligation the members had as members of the parent association.
(sec.77-ssec.3) For the branch or group of branches— the parent association’s rules control the membership of the branch or group of branches; and a member of the branch or group of branches— is taken to be a member of the parent association; and is under the same liabilities and obligations as members of the parent association.
- (a) the parent association’s rules control the membership of the branch or group of branches; and
- (b) a member of the branch or group of branches— (i) is taken to be a member of the parent association; and (ii) is under the same liabilities and obligations as members of the parent association.
- (i) is taken to be a member of the parent association; and
- (ii) is under the same liabilities and obligations as members of the parent association.
- (i) is taken to be a member of the parent association; and
- (ii) is under the same liabilities and obligations as members of the parent association.
