### sec.16A Use of information on register
A person must not—
use information obtained from the register of an incorporated association to contact, or send material to, the association or a member of the association for the purpose of advertising for political, religious, charitable or commercial purposes; or
disclose information obtained from the register of an incorporated association to someone else, knowing that the information is likely to be used to contact, or send material to, the association or a member of the association for the purpose of advertising for political, religious, charitable or commercial purposes.

Maximum penalty—10 penalty units.
Subsection (1) does not apply if the use or disclosure of the information is approved by the incorporated association.

(sec.16A-ssec.2) Subsection (1) does not apply if the use or disclosure of the information is approved by the incorporated association.
