### sec.44 Failure to help investigation officer
A person required to give reasonable help under section 41J (3) (b) must comply with the requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—10 penalty units.
It is a reasonable excuse for the person not to comply with the requirement because complying with the requirement might tend to incriminate the person.
