### sec.29A Dealing with vacancy in office of a member
This section applies if a vacancy arises in the office of a member of a committee (the first member ).
Despite section 29 (1) , the remaining members of the committee may appoint a person who is eligible to be a member of a committee (a replacement member ) to the office.
Subject to section 29 (2) , (2A) and (9) and section 35 , a replacement member holds office for the balance of the first member’s term of office.

(sec.29A-ssec.1) This section applies if a vacancy arises in the office of a member of a committee (the first member ).
